Milling the head will increase your compression ratio, so be prepared to
retard your timing or start investing in premium fuel. There are two cast
semi-circle depressions on the face of the head that can indicate how much
material has been milled in the past (and is available in the future), but
someone else would have to tell you how "deep" they are when stock to give
you a starting point. I haven't heard of anyone having valve clearance
problems before, regardless of head milling. If the head is milled enough,
you'll have to elongate the top row of holes in the side chamber cover.

Anyone out there know how much you can mill a block? Very little, I suspect.

BTW, you mentioned the "back hole" having corrosion. How about the center
water restrictor? Usually that's the first area to corrode.
