I had these WIA's in my MK IV, but I ordered a MK V intake manifold from
Britain, and put "baby'Cuda"s Zenith-Strombergs instead.
The reason was, that I could not rebuild them. I found new axels + service
kits from a specialist, but ALL SMALL MECHANIC PARTS in carbs were in bad
shape. All linkages like acceleration pump cams etc. were so worn, I found
it more easy to take stromberg CD's, they seem to be quite durable?
Yes, I know that MK IV should have single two-barrel Solex. I have heard it
is the worst option of all.
