     The older Alpines and Tigers have a blower switch incorporated in the
     Car, Screen lever. The tip slides in and out to turn the one speed
     blower on or off.

     Yes there is a switch for the Blower for the heater/defrost for the
     Alpine. The Switch is a three position toggle type wired as
     (off,low,high) the swtich is located on the left side of the dash by
     the windsheld washer pump.

Hi from Scotland.
Could somebody possibly answer this question: should there be an electrical
switch for the heater fan built in to the heater control operating lever,
or should there be a separate switch on the dash? Everthing's in bits just
now, and there's no labels on repainted dash.
     
p.s. I hope to have a wee web site up in about a month with photos of
Alpine restoration in progress for your entertainment and delight.
