Tom W. kindly donated me a pull switch which was cracked and non
operational. I repaired it by setting the original cracked and broken
plastic contact holder in resin.

The process involved clamping the unit in position so that the points were
firmly closed and then covering the plastic in a cocoon resin. It worked
but a more definite fix would come from using resin with glass fibers in
it. This would make it stiffer. Mine is a little flexible and sometimes
it takes a short while for the fan to come on after the knob is pulled out.

It's a fairly simple unit and if this method is not to your liking a
completely new piece could be made up which would still use the pull out
feature of the lever.
