The sender for the Tiger appears to have BSP threads. A regular old Ford
sender will not fit. I'm told that you could run a tap down the BSP hole
for the Tiger and use a plain old Ford sender, the difference between that
BSP size and a 3/8 NPT thread is not much. That gets you a common sender
that fits the hole but whether or not it works with your gauge is another
matter. I'm not going to try it.
My 2 cents, don't know if it is applicable to Alpine senders or not.
