Hello Paul,
I store my hardtop on a shelf I constructed out of wood suspended
from the ceiling joists of my garage. If you nail 3 or 4 2by4 hanger
pieces for each side of a shelf to accommodate a hardtop and then nail 2x4
pieces across these hanger pieces to support a piece of plywood this can
be used for supporting your hardtop. If you construct it so that it is
built where the trunk of the car would be when the car is parked in the
garage then all you have to do is remove the top while the car is parked
in the garage and store the hardtop on the shelf above and behind the
top. The car does not have to be moved out of the garage.
