Just a brief note to advise you that the Vancouver Island Tiger Alpine
Club met last weekend at Shawnigan Lake to tour a Cidery. Much tasting
of 12% scrumpy took place and we later retired to the Black Swan
for a Pub lunch. 5 alpines (series 2, 2 - series 3, an automatic series
4 and a series 5) plus a Tiger participated. The weather was "perfec"
and so was the company.
Alpining is alive and well on Vancouver Island
