If its the ones from VB you are reffering to, it is my understanding
that
the spindle that is available, is modifiable to be used as the other.

You must find a way. Worn bores with new spindles in almost as bad
as the prior condition. You can buy thin wall brass tubing that could be
used as a proper bushing, that would only require you to bore about
25 thou from the bores. Get the tubing at a hobby of harware store.
