Well fellow Beamers, it has taken me a week to write this note.

#3 seems to be a common denominator.

I dont know whether to be flattered or offended "Kidding=".
Well if you are trully considering th 1922 cc jobbie, you are in
for more fun than I ever had. You are talkin boring, sleeving
custom pistons ECT.
Each bore takes life out of your motor, so use the bore
cautiously.
Taking the bore out to .040 yields only 1767.27cc which is
only 2.5% more displacement. Going straight to the bigest
pistons does not yield enough extra power to warrant the
loss of block life.

Cams are the name of the game in any engine.
You can liven up an otherwise stock engine into a pretty
decent street machine with nothing but a cam.
I have two cam profile spec available, both were cut by
Crower cams. I have the grind# tags for future ref.
The first is a 270/280 cam, which with dual DCOEs, makes
about 120 BHP on a stock 1725 motor. Expect 105 BHP with
the strombergs. This grind is similar to the E128 122/125 BHP
cam from holbay.
The second is a 295/305 cam, which with all the race
goodies you can think of, will make somewhere around
150BHP. This cam will not run with stromebergs.
You have to ask yourself, Hey what do you want to do with
this motor, and what do you want to spend?
You can get pretty serious when building one of these motors,
and spend several thousand dollors or more.
You will spend over a thou, just rebuiding it stock.
I have a bunch of tips, theories and supplier info available
upon request.
