I think I understand. I checked the needles when I re-built the carbs,
they are the 5M size and did not appear to be worn so I re-used them.
Keeping oil in the carbs is a problem, that's why I want to fix them as
described in RSB 68-14. Where can I get those plugs? Is there another
way to plug those holes? I have a color-tune kit that I will try to set
the carbs with.

PS..Why would pulling the choke make a ny difference running at hiighway
speeds? The damper is already floating higher than the choke can lift
them right?
