I know that no seal will just "drop in." But won't machining off the
flange eliminate the few thou clearance and make it more like 1/4"?
Or, if that isn't enough wouldn't it be possible to just cut out the
whole stock flange and braze in a wider flange to accomodate a press
fit seal? Well, this speculation may all be moot after Armand's offer
for plans on a fix. I'm looking forward to seeing how someone has
already done it.
BTW, I'll look for you around Steve's car on Sunday. I'm only going
that one day.
