It almost sounds better now! As long as it goes up fairly soon,
a 2 second wait is no problem for the Alpine engines. It pretty
typical. It's time to worry when it no longer goes up. 8-(
The fact there has been a change in the way it acts, probably
points to something you have done recently. removed the pan, (complete
drain out). replaced oil gauge line. It sounds like you may have some
air in it. You could start the engine and bleed the line at the gauge.
Remember that oil will keep coming out of it for a while after you shut
the engine off. Have a little coffee can handy.
