This is one of the most popular carbs in the world.
Try to cross reference by by carb model+serial, instead of by
application. Many fiats use various forms of this carb, but
the model is important.

Also early German capri 2000/2600 used the Weber 32/36 DGV.

He should have given you a sheet that said FAIL, and the emmisions
reading.
This is very disturbing that he did not.
What is even more disturbing is that it is economically in his best
interest to
fail your car, to pick up the repair business.

I find it really interesting that BAR thinks it to be a conflict of
interest to
allow a failed car to be re-tested, but not for the garage to repair the
failed
car. Seems to me there is a much higher possibility of fraud there.
Of course the fraud would be on the consumer, and not the state, so all
is
well.

I got this from BAR.

It appears that the testing has been done at idle and 2500 RPM for 7
years (1990).

Here are the pass/fail/gross pollutor specs.
Once again, the gros pollutor spec is really "gross", so you ought
to be able to pass if you try. My road race 1725 can pass with
Dual Webers, but it is exempt.

1966-1967 HC in PPM CO in %
Idle emmisions pass/fail 700 5.5
2500 emmisions pass/fail 600 4.5

Minimum CO+CO2 = 8.0%
Maximum Idle RPM = 1100 RPM

Gross pollutor Idle 950 8.0
Gross pollutor Idle 850 7.0

Oh, and be sure to set your idle jsut under 1100 RPM.
Every little bit helps.

Good luck.
