scott It sounds like it could be the solenoid. They will vibrate when
their not working right. Did you try jumping across the terminals on the
solenoid? This should make the starter turn if the solenoid is bad. Check
your connections on the battery and on the solenoid and make sure their not
corroded. Also if your battery is not up to full charge that can make the
solenoid vibrate also. If you need to change the starter I can tell you
how to do it without removing anything on the engine, let me know if you
