Bill,
where did you purchase your quad core radiator? I live in LA and
would like a similar setup. Also, where'd you purchase the "wide
mouth" thermostat you refer to?
I am going to get a spacer and see if moving the fan a little
closer to the radiator helps with airflow and allows me to get by
without
the shroud. I may also try the yellow Ford fan that several people have
told me about.
I use a five blade assymetrical flexi-fan in my Series V and have
found it to be very effective. The only downside to it was that I had
to take it to a machine shop to have the center hole drilled out so
that it would fit my water pump properly centered.
