A post seals (fwd)

I am resending this message as I haven't seen it come up on my end. Sorry
if anyone else is receiving it for a second time.

Thanks to everyone who responded to my query as to the value of a stripped
down car and gave my brother ammunition to go to my friend and let him
know that his series V car is not priceless.

I have been working on getting my car as rain tight as possible and I was
wondering what people are using for the window to A post seal as these are
no longer available?

On a seperate note, what rear end ratios are available for the Alpine
other than the 3.89 and 4.22? Are there gear sets from other cars that
will bolt in? Apparently, Rick at SS had some gear sets in the low 3's
but is no longer able to get them. A lower gear set may take the place of
overdrive but would sacrifice some performance. I have opted to install
an overdrive from a Volvo using an MGB drive shaft. I plan on doing the
swap this winter during one of our monsoon type rains when my car performs
better parked in the garage than out in the elements. I am glad to hear
that Tony's car is doing well with the OD and non-OD rear end.
