Rob Martel was in the parts room hocking his wares at the recent
United XIX in Niagara Falls, Ont., Canada.
The (705) 435-0164 number someone on the list gave you was
disconnected many months ago because Rob told me he didn't have the
time to chat with people while he attempted to do work for his real
job (machinery fabrication), work on his own cars and make panels to
sell. He has a private number, but doesn't want it to be given out.
He is still in business and does handle written inquiries sent to his
Yonge St. address in Barrie, Ontario (this is not his home or
business address).
If you're in the U.S., most of Rob's standard panels (rockers, lower
front fenders, etc) can be obtained from Doug Jennings at Tiger Auto
in Dayton, OH. He uses Rob's panels almost exclusively, always
keeps a small inventory and sells them for about what you'd pay to get
them directly from Rob. I don't have Tiger Auto's phone #, but
they're in the 937 area code. They're also on the suppliers' list
on the Tiger website.
