This is fine,but wire wheel axles are susposedly hardened on the
taper for more spirted use.

Yes, the SV axles use different cases, bearings and hubs too,

If it fits, has identical dimentions, and most of all, is cheaper, then
use it. How badly could lockheed screw up a drum?
