No problem with the Series V Alpines, or Mk IA/II Tigers that have the
soft vinyl boot, but on the earlier cars, you have to completely remove
the two side pieces to put the soft-top up/down. I've done it a number
of times on the Mk I Tiger, so it's not impossible, just a big pain.
Also, I don't know about the Series I & II Alpines; not for sure. Ours
doesn't have a soft top, but the frame work/bows looks like a whole
different sort of contraption. It might work on the earlier cars.
Anybody else have a clue?
