Check the terminals at the battery and at the starter solenoid.
Sounds like you have a borderline connection.
What happens here is that the connection may be loose or
oxidized, and when the starter current flows through the loose
terminal, it oxidizes the metal there, and the resistance becomes
too high to do anything that consumes a-lot of current.
The lights may work, the relay may click, but when the contactor
closes, the current just doesnt flow.
