What about synthetic oils?
I have a friend, not an engineer, who works for Mobil. He says that the
Mobil engineers have told him that Mobil 1 clings to metal surfaces, more
so than natural oils, and that after an engine is left for a even a
considerable length of time there is still oil on the cylinder walls etc.
when it is restarted.
