Ole,

I guess his is where the Canadian banking system is more reasonable when
it comes to buying Sterling money orders and drafts. I pay a flat $9.50 per
month service charge which gives me "free" check (cheque to us!) issuing,
and no charge on Canadian and foreign money orders, drafts and travellers
checks and no charge to pay utility bills, etc. at the bank. I was unaware
of the penalty you are forced to pay when buying foreign drafts.

Regards,
Bob
