Oh, forgot to say that using .040 std pistons in a "fresh" head will
yield 9.4/1 CR from the 9.2/1 you get from a standard bore.
This of course is so because the swept area "displacement" has gone
up dou to the overbore, but the unswept area "combustion chamber"
has stayed the same.
