2.9 v6 question

       Hi, could some ford nut out in space please tell me if I can change
this fuel Injection and intake to a carb Intake Manifold off a 2.8 ???? or
is a Manifold for the 2.9 offered for a Carb ??? I don't know enough about
wiring and such for all that trash under the hood of a Alpine........PLEASE
HELP ! HAS ANYBODY USED THE 2.9? ?
