yeah, I kind of like the idea: the alpines-autox list's own calendar !
download a (say) MS-Word / Works document with the regular fonts,
and a few nice colour compressed jpegs / gifs, load up some light card,
hit 'print' and -
voila - one calendar.

I'd even contribute a photo (or two) from my collection of old magazines
and prints.
(you've got to see '8745 KM', the SAOC-UK concours winning series 3 sports:
carnival red, minilites....
really & truly gorgeous)

I'm sure most of us would be able to get to use / borrow a colour (or
greyscale ) printer.
It wouldn't be quite print quality, but miles better than most of those
cheesey kittens and puppies calendars that fill the shelves at this time of
year ;-)
