More questions

It's me again:

I've got a few more questions for you Alpiners out there.

* Cylinder head differences: My car is a '67 Series V (please forgive me
if this question seems ridiculous...it's been many years since I have owned
an Alpine and I've forgotten alot about them). I have seen two different
head configurations and would like to know which one is correct for my car.
I guess the best way to describe the difference is in the spark plug
holes. One configuration has round recesses around the spark plug hole
(sort of like an old Chrysler hemi V8) and the other configuration does
not. Which head is correct for a Series V? Serial #, if it matters, is
B395006675. (By the way, my car currently has the latter head
configuration that I mentioned)

* Valve cover differences: I've also seen several different valve covers.
Some covers I have seen have an "S" embossed into a raised plate on the
valve cover itself and some do not. My car currently has the plain valve
cover without the "S." Which one is correct for my car?

* Side plate "vent tube:" My car also has what appears to be some sort of
vent tube off the rear side plate of the engine. What is this for and
what, if anything, does it hook up to? Currently, a previous owner has
rigged up a copper vent pipe that just extends out the bottom of the block
and vents to the atmosphere.

Thanks again for any help on these matters.
