Hey all:
I'm in need of a couple of parts for my '67 Series V.
* the block drain tube that runs from the drain hole on the drivers side of
the engine block and through the drivers side motor mount bracket,
including the petcock on the end (mine broke while trying to remove it)
* the round flametrap cannister that connects to the rubber tube running
from the carburetors to the oil filler neck on the valve cover (mine is
missing)
I also have a rather easy question that I hope someone can help me with.
This Alpine V that I have has had the oil cooler lines re-routed. The one
running to the drivers side of the cooler runs up and over the thermostat
housing and then down to the cooler. I would certainly like to move this
as none of the pictures that I have seen from original road tests of the
Alpine Series V show this line in this position. Can someone enlighten me
on the proper routing of the oil cooler lines? Any help would be
appreciated.
Thanks,
Andy "Rolling Restoration" Walker
