Just some points of clarification.

The square hole head was a Series V head, not just for Arrow/Hunter cars.

One of the oil filter tubes is supposed to go up and over the front of the
engine. There should also be a small bracket which is really about a 2.5"
piece of metal with a small bend in it, that attaches to one of the holes
on the side of the valve cover and then to the oil cooler hose to keep it
from rubbing on the engine and wearing out.

The breather on the side plate is supposed to go up over the engine too.
It is supposed to be connected to the PCV valve on the intake manifold.

The valve cover you describe is the correct one for your car. Although it
does not have the pretty "S" and "Sunbeam", it does have the correct
threaded holes for the above mentioned oil lines and for the heater tube.
I got one of the S/Sunbeam ones and also disconnected my heater - a move I
am starting to regret now that it is below 50 when I drive to work in the
morning - but then again, I keep the top down, so it really doesn't make
much difference, all except for my feet.
