Can you help me?

Dear fellow Alpiners.

I've got a wee problem, and I'm hoping somebody on the list will spare five
minutes of their time to help me out. I'm replacing both rear chasis legs:
I'm assuming thet the centre-line for the car is on the rear number plate
light and lock apertures- It seems symetrical to me, but:-
*the distance from the cars centre line to the centre line for each rear bumper
mounting bolt on either side is slightly different !!*

it's about one centimetre off.

The funny thing is that there's no sign of any body damage (i.e. a
rear/side shunt) or any ripples /repairs /
replacement panels, and I've looked long and hard. There's just rust (and
more rust)

So:-
If someone would be kind enough to measure accurately the distance between
the centres of the two bumper mount bolts in millimeters, and reply, I'd be
more than grateful.

The whole project is kinda stalled until I figure out how to sort this.
I don't want to build in body distortion.

Thanks in advance to anyone who replies.
