The Volvo Slugs are 85mm (3.346 inch). From B18 engine.
But for the money, you can have pistons made to about any
size you want. "After market forged Volvo pistons cost
around $400 USD".
I carefully measured the clearances on the head gasket against
a 40 over block, and found that the standard head gasket was good
to an absolute maximum of .060 overbore (.050 looked safe).
This would absolutely disqualify the standard head gasket in this
application.
This is very similar to an article that ran in the horn some time ago,
where the builder used Hillman avenger pistons (86mm) and longer
Hunter rods.
We went through this a while back, and nobody seemed to know
what the builder did for a head gasket.
If anyone knows, please tell us!

.335 cam lift is around .465 at the valve.
Got the specs on the cam?
