I just replaced piston's one and two.
However, before two went and broke a ring which chewed its way to the
surface I also had at the same time an oil pressure problem.
The pressure was quite variable and always tending to decrease drastically
when coasting or at idle or on a turn. This began about two months ago.
I honed to an accepable taper of less than 5/1000 in cylinders one and two.
Everthing went back into place as it should. New seals etc.
4 Litres (Quartz) of oil.
The power has returned, no more blow thru, but so has the distressingly low
oil pressure problem. I thought the cracked ring scenerios in one and two
might be related but so far they do not seem to be.
What should I look for now?
