I received the VB Winter sale catelog last night. My experience with
these guys is the same as everyone elses', but they sometimes have good
prices in these sale catelogs on things that even they can't screw up.
I remember a couple of fellas picked up windshields pretty cheap a
couple of years ago. Nothing so great this year. Distributor stuff
maybe if you buy enough to justify the postage. They also have
something called Longflow airfilters. They look nice in the picture and
claim to have a washable filter. The paper filters have gotten so
expensive; I'm thinking about these as an alternative. Has anyone tried
them. At the sale price, their only about 2X the cost of paper filters.
If you can really wash the filter repeatedly, it could be a good deal.
