If they're those foam things, I would say don't waste your money. I
bought some from them and put them on the car (dual Stombergs)...had to
re-adjust the air fuel mixture and make a special hole for the bypas
hose that connects to the oil filler tube. They also had a vibration
problem...when the engine reached 2500+ RPM, the metal screens resonated
at a screeming pitch...C sharp I think. I had them for about a year
although the car was not running for the last 10 months. After I got the
parts to fix the car and get it running again, I tried to start the car
and the air cleaners were so deteriorated that the foam got sucked down
the carbs! I spent the next weekend re-building the carbs and cleaning
out all that muck! The ones I would suggest, other than the originals,
are the K & N filters as used on motorcycles. They have a meatl mesh
inside a spot welded housing, much like the early Series air filters. I
don't know if they make them for the Alpines. If you can find some that
are similar, those would be a better buy.
