Bill,
There should be no difference between the correct 1725 manifold
components.
That being said, are you trying to use an early header exhaust
on your 1725?
The earlier engines that used the header, used a tab welded to
the header and the manifold itself on a fulcrum instead of a single
bolt and washer that cinches both manifolds at the same time.
These bolts are about 8 inches long and use a 2 inch pivotable
fulcom to cinch both manifolds.
This, or you have a modifed exhaust manifold that has been modifed
to fit the thickness of a competition dual weber intake, form hartwell,
Holbay or one of the others. These manifolds have a smaller flange
thickness than the standard manifold.
