Ray. There's been a few articles on Alpines, and I've got most of them, but
never
a year long restoration series.
they have done a 1963 Rapier and that's available as a separate book. It's
pretty good, esp
on the structural side of things. they also just finished a Fastback Alpine
series.
They've also covered a nice series II rebuild in one issue, and a series V
rebuild in a
more recent issue (although, in my humble opinion, the guy was getting the
sills all wrong)
They used to run a ser V as one of their "staff cars", and curently staff
writer Mark Dixon has a
gorgeous light blue series 2 (I invited him to join the list. Are you with
us, Mark?)
i've also got a couple of PC articles on rebuilding the 1592 and 1725cc engines.
And they've done three long buyers guides articles, one last year, the
others a long time ago.
I'll get the dates and years if you want.
I might be able to source old issues or colour copies for you, if you'll
cover any costs or return the favour.

the Alpines web site had a big list of articles, last time I checked.
