Series V Convertible Top Installation!

I have not done it since 1980. So, I don't remember much. I have a new
one and need to install it. I haven't yet and have used that as a reason
never to drive the car in the rain. That being said, I did get caught the
other day and did experience first hand how little you actually get wet
while in motion. It's those damn stop lights that drench you!

I do have one tip on installation. Along the back edge, there are three
metal/brass strips. I have seen quite a few installations that did this
section wrong. The long strip along the very back sandwiches the top
material and the rubber gasket to the body. The two small side strips only
sandwich the rubber gasket. The top material should be free floating here.
If it is not done properly the top will never fold right until it rips.
