In an episode of Get Smart, Agent 86 helps a visiting princess out of the boot of the Alpine (he was protecting her from KAOS agents of course).
In the movie "Get Carter," Michael Caine's girlfriend climbs into the boot of a Series IV to hide before he drives away in it. Unfortunately, the bad guys later push the Alpine off a tall pier into the drink, with the girlfriend still inside. Glub! Glub!
