While you are at it, see if you can find out some history on this strange
phenomenon. That is, who painted it? Why did the artist choose an Alpine
over a Tiger? Why did R&T put a picture of an Alpine in, where exotics
normally go?
I mean, I know it is nice to enjoy our Alpines, and even convince ourselves
that in some ways the Alpine is better than the Tiger. But, I have to face
the cold hard truth that few non-Alpine owners would share this view (ie
Tiger owners, MG/TR owners, and pretty much the rest of the world) - and
the existence of this picture in a national magazine that focuses on
readers that are more likely to be interested in a Tiger than an Alpine (or
even a 1999 BMW over a Tiger) is admittedly strange.

I'm going to contact R&T to see if they'll let me use it on the
Alpines web site.
