If anyone is interested, I have a jpeg photo of the original Sunbeam
Tiger that I can send them via email. It looks like a typical 1920's
G.P. car.

The original Sunbeam Tiger did not set the World Land Speed Record. It and
its twin sister Tigress did set a great number of class records but at four
liters did not have the oomph to go after the big one. "The Cub" at two
liters also set a number of class records.
These cars were multi-purpose racing machines, also doing very well in "wheel-
to-wheel" race events. But never the WLSR.
