Thanks, Scott. I do appreciate the sentiments. As you can probably
imagine, I am spending the day saying to myself, (at)#!$!, why didn't I look,
stop, leave home later, anything, something . . .
But, I am very happy that I was not hurt. I attribute much of that to the
strength of the car. So the Alpine's crossmembers cause the car to be
heavier and slower than its contemporaries. That extra reinforcement I am
sure saved me great bodily injury.
