Jay and others: When I purchased my car, a premium car club called AUTOVANTAGE
offered a free valuation which I took advantage of. In 1993, the low, mid and
high were respectively $2400, $4000 and $6750, which to my recollection jibed
with the then current auction prices in the back of some of the Brit car mags.

I wanted to drive more than allowed by most classic car insurance policies and
still cover the replacement cost of the car. AAA, my insurer, at the time said
that this info and photos of the car and receipts would aid in more accurate
valuation.

If you would like a copy of this letter for your insurance company, I can
furnish a copy.
