Now that you mention it, I think that is what the new CAT roll bar was
designed to do - be as high as possible and still allow the top to go up.
And, I also seem to recall seeing one and thinking that it stuck up awfully
high.

I think I have seen someone with a Sunbeam roll bar that could remove. The
tubes were cut about 6" above the mounts, a smaller tube, with an OD = to
the ID of the roll bar tubes, was welded inside of the short tubes
connected to the mounts. These short tubes would extend up into the cut
off part of the roll bar, with bolts through to hold it on. Wouldn't the
integrity of the bar be sacrificed with this set up?
