Thanks for all the great responses on my question about removing alpine doors.I forgot to ask about the limiting strap that keeps the door from over extending,sorry but I have not been working on that part of the car for a few weeks but it seemed to me that if I could disconnect the strap most of the hinge access problems would be solved.Sorry if this question sounds a bit basic but with such a great resource for information I thought I might as well ask before I start trying for myself.
