I realize this is a little late, but I just came across the ad I was looking for that has the ex-Le Mans Alpine for sale (isn't this the same one that recently came up for sale again?) This is from the April 1991 issue of Thoroughbred & Classic Cars: "Ex Works Paddy Hopkirk. Le Mans Sunbeam Alpine 1962, reg number 9203RW fully restored in B.R.G., to works specification, concours. 75,000 pounds" The seller was Benson Classics. Wonder if they ever got that amount, and what the car is currently trading for now? Scott Christie Series 3 Alpine Registry
