Well, I just had my windscreen replaced at Speedy. I was glad I stuck around as I had to take the radio and the blower out to get to the center bolt on the windscreen. The new one was made in Peru !! and was shipped from Iowa. It was tough job to get the new one in the frame and not without 3 of us pulling on it and persuasion with a rubber mallet. Anyway, the total bill was $1076 Can. with me paying the $100 deductible ! To Curt, sorry I did not order through you. We have a Crown Corporation providing car insurance in B.C. and they have their rules and I had to go through a dealer. Based on my experience today, this is not a job I would recommend tackling at home. Tony Leeming Series II Alpine (crackless)
