I have a Series II for sale. It is a nice rust free body that I had shipped from California. Even the floorboards are original. It needs paint, interior redone and a lot of TLC. It has the usual dings from being 30+ years old. It was stored for about 15 years before I bought it and I have kept it garaged for about 4 years. It has wire wheelsand is flat towable. It has no motor or transmission in it but I have a running 1494 engine and transmission that would go with the car as a package deal. It cost me $900 to transport the car plus what I paid for it, plus what I paid for the engine/transmission, so just to break even the price is $1500. (I will sell just the body for $1100.) Not a good deal in California but here in the rust belt, repairing a rusty Alpine will easily eat up $1100+ in panels and labor and grief. You are welcome to come and look at it. I am selling it because I have another Alpine anyway and with three small children (Ages 7, 5, 3) I do not have ! ! the time to fix it up. I will send you my telephone number if you want to talk more about it. I live near the Chicago area. Tom
