What is the deal with the Alpine cylinder head? I just pulled the head off of my series V and found a great deal of corrosion also. The corrosion was accompanied by slimy goop. I just replaced the radiator approx one year ago and replaced the coolant with the proper mix at that time, so I don't think its from the dreaded weak, neglected antifreeze. Are the Alpine cylinder heads just prone to corrosion?
