I (think) I have a SI/II steering wheel in my stash at my former residence - as I recall it's in pretty sorry state - the black hub is kind of split but I think the mechanics of it are ok. Do you want me to go and check it out? It certainly won't do for a decent restoration but as you said it might help to move it around the shop. (it;s hell trying to steer with a 'crescent wrench' on the nut - ain't it!) Shipping would probably cost more than I would ask for the part. From your address looks like you're in Washington State? I'm in Victoria, BC.
