I am looking for some information. I went to the Oldtimers auto show in Ciney, Belgium today. I saw two cars that really interested me. The first was a 1967 Sunbeam Alpine V. The car looked real good but there were minor things like the pentastar was painted over, a tail lamp lens was broken, the windshield looked like the wipers were operated without blades(deep scratches), the drivers door did not closes flush, pitted bumpers. In short the car was not cherry but it did look good. The owner is asking BF 345,000 about $9800. Is this high or is it in the ball park? I could not drive it or even hear it run.

$9800? My car is a 95+ point restoration and I would not expect to get much more than $7-7500 for it. That guy is hallucinating!!! I can't imagine a car in the condition you'vr described fetching anywhere near $9800.
