You'll need a different clutch disc, since the input shaft has 25(?) splines.
Call Rick at Sunbeam Specialties, he has a disc with the right (big) diameter
and correct splines. Too bad you still have to use the series II pressure
plate. Man, they're expensive...
You'll also need the newer shifter assy., and front yoke for the driveshaft
(also has many more splines).

Not necessarily 25 spline shafts, just because it's a Series V. My one previous owner, had for many years, 66 Alpine, B395012436, has a 10 spline clutch and output shaft, and has since day one. I even lucked upon an all- synchro OD from a V that also has 10 spline shafts (and has been in my car ever since a week after I found it!) Don't know where they made the change, but it had to either be after my VIN, or a (shudder) random change. (IE, whatever the supplier sent to the factory that week!)
Either way, the swap can be done fairly easily.
